Our Achievers

We have always believed and advocated that fundamental clarity of subject coupled with examination oriented practice alone can take you through in professional exams.

Mastery of core concepts as against Rutta (Rot memorising) is the key to success.

Our students who have followed the above technique have not only scored high marks in the subjects taught by us but also created 'marks bank' for achieving the aggregate score required for passing the group.

Model Test Papers - Nov 2010 Exams

Download MTP and Answers for Nov 2010 Exams

This years we started publishing Model Test Papers for our students to help them in their preparations for May 2010 Examinations. We received a tremendous response and downloads were made by even students studying at other institutes and out of city as well. Many students sent us e-mails that they have been immensely benefited by the test papers and it has given them confidence to face the actual examination.

In continuation, we are now putting up the Model Test Papers for November 2010 Exams. The Model Answers are also updated on weekly basis after the same is discussed in our regular classes.

Of course, students of our regular classes get benefited by giving the test in near-exam conditions and discussing their own answers vis-a-vis the suggested answer of the faculty and clearing their doubts relating to the topics.

These MTP and Answers are available in our 'Downloads' section. Please keep checking regularly.

Life Lessons from '3 Idiots'
Written by BSJolly

3_idiots

After watching 3 Idiots recently, besides the heartwarming story woven around very relevant issues facing Indian students psyche, I could not help but listing down some lessons which the movie forces us to taken down. These are the lessons which we at Infinity Classes have always been focusing and sharing with our students. This is not a movie review, but we strongly recommend our students to pickup the following messages while they enjoy the happy yet meaningful experience.

1. You can excel only if you enjoy. This rule applies in studies and everything else. If you enjoy playing cricket, you can make a great career out of it as Sachin Tendulkar have made it. Conversely, if you do not enjoy mathematics, you will be struggling all your life with figures, even if you do a masters degree in it and chances are remote that you will be a great mathematician. Ditto applies to students of CA profession. Students who scrore merit ranks are those who have love and passion for the subject.

2. Follow your goals and your passions without worrying about the end result. Is this not what Holy Gita preaches; do your karma without worrying about the fruits; we see it, hear it and conveniently forget it. Life is full of uncertainties, past is history, future is unknown. Therefore, it is all the more important to focus on the present. Give your best shot now!

3. Focus on fundamentals. You can love any subject only if you are prepared to dig deep and understand the fundamentals. Great tall buildings stand on strong foundations and real pearls are found in the depth of oceans. The 'rote memorizing' will only help in short term. One who simply follows the 'readymade', 'someone's notes' or other material without understanding the basics will be like 'Chatur aka Silencer' in the movie who cannot distinguish between 'chamatkar' and 'balatkar'.

4. Do not chase success...instead strive for excellence. If you seek excellence and perfection, success will follow. This is a golden rule which every student must imbibe in their life. Take all the leading men and women in their career and profession including Aamir Khan and you will realise that if you are excellent in your field, money, fame, success and rest all material things follow. Instead many students keep chasing the latter all their life and end up being frustrated and confused even when they achieve it upto a certain level.

5. Follow your own heart. Do not follow the oft preached slogan - "Life is a race and you need to beat your competitor every step of the way if you want to be successful in life." Instead define success in your own terms. You be your own competition and improvise every day. Do what you enjoy, put your own limits and not what your neighbor, your uncle or your colleagues opine. Of course, take your parents & family in confidence and convince them about the path you choose.

We at Infinity Classes have always believed and followed the way of study and teaching methodology propogated by the movie and commend the Directors, Producers and entire star cast for spreading these life lessons on a wider scale. This movie is a reflection of the limitations of our education and teaching system, herd mentality of students, blind race for success without understanding the meaning of it and offers the viewers an opportunity to pause and redefine their life goals.

We wish all our students a very happy and 'excellent' 2010.
