Don't Mug up - Clear the Concepts
Clear the Concepts
We at Infinity Classes have always been advocating the importance of clarity of concepts rather than mugging up which is preached by most of the coaching institutes. We encourage our students to shed the herd mentality and unlock their infinite potential. In recent times the past president of ICAI, Shri Uttam Parkash Agarwal in an interview stressed upon the need for understanding the concepts rather than rot memorising.
Most of the CA students take the course as just another degree course and start depend on spoon feeding done by coaching classes. They are made to believe that until they do not attend these classes they cannot succeed in the examination. In this race they do not take their articleship seriously and hence miss on the real exposure to business. The result is that students are not able to develop their capabilities and even after qualifying the exam they do not have the confidence to face the real world.
Infinity Classes have always differentiated from these spoon feeding factories and have invested time and energy in bringing the clarity of subject to students. Our students possessed with complete understanding of concepts emerge as confident and successfull not only in examinations but also in the real business world.
Change in Examination Pattern
The Institute has also advocated through different forums the change in examination pattern by making it more practical oriented so that it becomes a real test of student's understanding and not a test of his mugging up capacity.
Growing Professional Opportunities
ICAI also stressed time and again that even in these recessionary times, the professional opportunities for Chartered Accountants are growing. However, in order to encash these opportunities, the CA's need to be capable and confident.
